Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of managing a profit-making operation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the distribution business.

Responsibilities

• Meets profit goals for the yard.
• Maximizes opportunities for improving net profit and develops corrective actions.
• Maintains relationships with customers to maximize profit performance.
• Assists sales team with developing new customers and follows up on leads.
• Sets pricing and ensures appropriate pricing for the yard.
• Oversees inventory levels, orders, and delivery execution.
• Ensures yard staffing, safety, and equipment meet delivery needs.
• Handles input of sales orders and related reports for accuracy.
