Job summary

Miller Environmental Group in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Branch Manager – Operations Leadership to oversee all branch operations, lead staff, manage budgets and P&L, and drive growth. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and strong client relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in operations leadership.
• Strong knowledge of DOT, RCRA, EPA, OSHA regulations.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Availability for varied hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on‑call rotation.
• Successful completion of a post-offer drug screen, background check, and DOT physical in accordance with applicable law

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, coach, and manage the performance of all branch staff.
• Oversee daily operations, including labor and equipment utilization, expenses, and overall performance.
• Plan and allocate labor, equipment, and resources to support current work and future growth.
• Manage and maintain accountability for branch budgets, financial performance, and P&L results.
• Partner with Business Development on sales initiatives, proposals, client meetings, and market growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships; resolve service, operational, or quality concerns.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, EPA, RCRA, and all applicable health and safety regulations.
• Oversee fleet, facility, inventory, and equipment readiness.
• Review job reports and ensure accuracy of billing, proposals, quotes, and documentation.
• Direct emergency response activities, including planning, mobilization, and coordination.
• Communicate performance, risks, and operational needs to senior leadership.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and lead emergency response efforts as required
