Job summary

Southern States Toyotalift is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to lead all daily branch functions for a Material Handling location, including Service, Parts, Rental, and Sales.

You will drive profitability, implement process improvements, mentor a team of managers and supervisors, ensure safety and compliance, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional branch image.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related work experience in service-related industry required.
• 2-5 years of experience in material handling preferred.
• 5+ years management experience required.
• Supervisory experience with 2-6 direct reports required.
• Proficient with MS Office Professional and Windows.
• Time management, organizational, and leadership skills.
• High School Diploma, or equivalent required. BA/BS in business a plus.
• Experience in workforce development, hiring and training of talent.
• Experience designing systems to manage complex processes and optimize performance.
• Experience leading and developing teams; resolving conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all daily branch operations for a Material Handling solutions location.
• Maintain branch profitability and direct P&L responsibility for Service, Parts, and Rental.
• Drive operational excellence by identifying inefficiencies and applying improvements.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality support.
• Serve as subject matter expert on service offerings and parts product lines.
• Partner with customers to support equipment repair and maintenance needs.
• Monitor performance metrics for service and parts managers.
• Establish goals and performance standards with ongoing improvements.
• Provide leadership, coaching, mentorship, and feedback to associates.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety procedures across operations.
• Promote a strong safety culture and productive work environment.
• Prepare and analyze operational and financial reports for leadership.
