Reading Cooperative Bank is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Reading, MA. This full-time role partners with the Branch Service Officer to drive branch performance, oversee daily operations, and foster exceptional customer relationships.

The ideal candidate will have leadership experience, strong sales and service skills, and a commitment to compliance and team development. Salary is commensurate with experience; benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of banking experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Familiarity with local markets and communities preferred.
• Proven success in customer service, relationship building, and sales.

Responsabilités

• Assist in managing the daily branch operations to ensure efficient service.
• Maintain branch security, internal controls, and procedures.
• Oversee cash management activities, including vault maintenance and balancing.
• Assist with audits, regulatory examinations, and corrective action planning.
• Lead customer engagement, cross-selling, and sales initiatives.
• Coach staff and support branch goals and performance.
