The Associate Branch Director is responsible for the day-to-day management and overall operations of the Spanish Fort Express YMCA. This role provides leadership and oversight for branch programs, staff, membership services, and facility operations, ensuring all functions operate in accordance with policies, procedures, and standards established by the YMCA.The Associate Branch Director drives operational excellence by delivering high-quality programs and services that support member engagement, growth, retention, and community impact. This position fosters a culture of collaboration, accountability, and service, while maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-managed facility environment. Responsibilities include supervising and developing staff, monitoring budgets and financial performance, supporting fundraising efforts, and ensuring compliance with safety, risk management, and regulatory requirements.The Associate Branch Director plays a key role in enhancing the member experience and supporting the overall growth and sustainability of the Spanish Fort YMCA Express. Kinesiology experience/degree preferred. YMCA approved certifications in personal training, group fitness. CPR/AED/First Aid required.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of supervision, program development, budget management, fundraising, and community collaboration experience preferred. Previous YMCA or not-for-profit experience preferredProven Expertise: Experience in staff development, staff supervision and development, quality assurance and implementation, and fiscal management and budgeting; Demonstrated ability to manage employees and budget oversight, team development and performance management; Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and align department initiatives with organizational goals.Proficient in operational and accounting software; YMCA branding software, Payroll HRIS software experience; Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn other software programs as needed.
