Job summary

Ferguson in Salinas, CA is seeking a Branch Supervisor to lead daily operations and guide a customer-facing team, building trusted relationships with customers and vendors. You’ll work hands-on to connect strategy with action, encourage learning and growth, and keep the branch running safely and smoothly.

You will hire, coach and schedule staff, manage inventories, promote sales, and analyze data to continuously improve performance. This is a hands-on role for a customer-focused leader.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
• Comfortable moving between customer-facing, administrative and operational tasks.
• Willingness to learn warehouse operations including forklift operation.
• Ability to use data to guide decisions and improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for customer-facing associates and branch functions.
• Develop a team focused on customer service, policy and strategy.
• Run the branch operations, including hiring, coaching and scheduling.
• Maintain inventories, promote sales, and keep the branch looking professional.
• Engage with leaders, associates and customers to implement solutions.
• Analyze store data to identify opportunities and improve performance.
• Perform work in accordance with safety standards and procedures.
