Apple Bank for Savings in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Teller with 2+ years of experience to support the Operations Supervisor. You will assist in teller unit activities, train staff, ensure accurate transactions, manage schedules, and promote bank products while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred), strong communication, and solid computer skills. Weekend/evening hours and occasional travel may be required.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of teller experience preferred.

• Knowledge of Bank products and services.
• Ability to work weekends and extended hours or at neighboring branches.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Operations Supervisor in teller unit activities and motivate staff.
• Serve as a backup to Supervisor and tellers as needed.
• Provide guidance and training to tellers on procedures and systems.
• Ensure transactions are accurate and efficient.
• Help manage staff schedules and task assignments.
• Process routine banking transactions and resolve moderate issues.
• Assist cash management tasks and daily cash vault procedures.
• Respond to branch sales needs to reduce customer wait times.
• Promote suitable bank products and services.
• Partner with Supervisor to evaluate staff performance and recruit.
• Maintain knowledge of AML, BSA, OFAC requirements.
• Assist in opening/closing the cash vault.
• Conduct ATM verifications and approve transactions when needed.
• Perform filing and clerical duties.
• Adhere to Code of Conduct and internal policies.
• Perform additional duties as requested.
