Modern Builders Supply (MBS) in Muncie, IN is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in daily operations and to guide frontline staff and warehouse activities. This role bridges frontline team members with branch leadership while implementing corporate initiatives to achieve branch goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required;4-year college business degree preferred
• Minimum of three years of progressive work experience in a customer service environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to coach and develop staff

Responsibilities

• Assist Branch Manager with the operations of the branch including dispatching and vehicle maintenance, inventory management, customer service training, safety initiatives, and various bookkeeping functions
• Lead customer service team by example by providing exceptional customer service
• Serve as a backup to Branch Manager in processing payroll to corporate office when needed
• Step in to lead the team when the Branch Manager is absent
• Perform other duties as assigned
