Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service is hiring an Assistant Branch Manager to support day-to-day branch operations and lead drivers toward timely, safe, and efficient performance. The role involves overseeing routes, assisting with morning duties, and maintaining daily reports.

Travel may be required; starting wage is $26.00–$30.00 per hour based on experience. Ideal candidates bring 1+ years in transportation leadership, a CDL Class A, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance with DOT and company

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 and high school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class A license or willingness to complete company training within 90 days of employment.
• 1+ years of experience in transportation and leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily branch operations and lead drivers to ensure timely, safe deliveries.
• Complete routes for absent employees and assist with morning duties (sorting, loading).
• Monitor freight flow, track performance, and escalate issues to leadership.
• Help improve productivity, equipment performance, and customer service.
