Job summary

BankHometown in Danielson, CT is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to work alongside the Branch Manager, overseeing daily branch operations and customer experience.

The role includes supervising the lobby and teller line, participating in hiring, coaching the branch team, and ensuring compliance with bank policies while delivering excellent service to customers. Prior supervisory experience is preferred and bilingual ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or similar course work/training.
• Minimum of 2 years customer service experience/sales experience.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
• Prior Assistant Branch Manager experience is a plus.
• Fluency in a second language is a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations and customer experience with the Branch Manager.
• Supervise lobby and teller line; assist in work delegation and coordination.
• Participate in hiring and coach the branch team; ensure timely communications.
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State laws and bank policies.
