• Thorough knowledge of bank policy and procedures, compliance and regulatory items and financial institution products and services.

Responsibilities

• Creates a world class client experience environment.
• Represents the financial institution to the community through good customer relations, networking, and community events.
• Establishes and helps to attain internal performance objectives for branch office business volume, deposits, loan portfolio referrals, treasury management referrals, line of business referrals and quality of audit reports.
• Ensures sales and service delivery expectations are met. Provides and maintains a professional, business-like atmosphere within the branch office.
• Assists with staff reviews for formal performance evaluations.
• Coordinates staff training when needed.
• Drives operational excellence by engaging in all aspects of compliance, audit, and branch policy.
• Ensures compliance to security procedures, Tests branch security equipment and investigates security issues when needed.
• Responsible for comprehensive, prompt and efficient customer transactions.
• Participates in and encourages lending activities indirectly: Interviews consumer loan applicants and orders credit reports; Requests specified information for consumer loan applications; Corresponds with customers, applicants, or creditors to resolve questions regarding consumer application information; Notifies consumer loan applicant of loan decision; Refers consumer and small business loan requests to assigned lending specialists/business banker.
