Job summary

The Village Bank in Auburndale, MA is seeking a Float Branch Supervisor to lead daily branch operations and deliver outstanding customer service. The role requires travel to other locations and flexibility to work rotating schedules, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the branch, cash handling, customer needs assessment, referrals to specialists, and supervising Personal Bankers and Tellers. Starting pay is $23.00–$26.00 hourly, with equity tied to experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of banking experience.
• Strong computer and math skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and sales skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Detail-oriented, efficient, and accurate work.
• Ability to work rotating schedule Monday through Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Open/close branch, manage branch in absence of manager.
• Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Identify customer financial needs and recommend solutions.
• Refer to specialists for wealth management, mortgages, etc.
• Achieve customer service and sales goals.
• Process account openings and maintenance.
• Perform routine bank transactions and cash handling.
• Balance cash drawers and reconcile discrepancies.
• Follow security procedures and participate in dual-control.
• Participate in audits, reconciliations, and ATM/cash recycler tasks.
• Develop customer relationships and resolve issues efficiently.
• Promote bank products and services.
• Supervise and train Retail team members.
