Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager/Operations Assistant Manager to support daily branch operations and lead drivers to ensure timely, safe, and efficient performance.

The role requires 21+ with a high school diploma and preferred associate degree in Business Management, Logistics or Operations. 1+ year transportation/leadership experience is preferred; duties include safety compliance, reporting, and staff onboarding. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in transportation or logistics and leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily branch operations and lead drivers to ensure timely, safe, and efficient operations.
• Complete routes for absent employees and assist with morning duties.
• Track and update daily department reports and monitor safety compliance.
• Escalate issues to leadership and participate in weekly operational meetings.
• Provide feedback on performance, attendance or safety concerns and assist in training staff.
