MECU of Baltimore Inc. in Catonsville is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager and ensure efficient operations at the Westview Branch.

You will coach tellers and MSRs, uphold MECU policies and regulatory requirements, and deliver trusted member service while maintaining staff performance. This role emphasizes leadership, clear communication, and a commitment to member loyalty across the branch.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business or 3+ years of Assistant Manager experience at a financial institution.
• Minimum 5 years in member service and 3–5 years in supervisory coaching.
• 3–5 years of experience in effective decision making.
• Teller and MSR II experience with extensive loan knowledge or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Saturday hours required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Branch Manager to ensure efficient branch operation and staff performance.
• Coach tellers and MSRs to achieve high service standards.
• Ensure staff compliance with MECU policies and applicable regulations.
• Oversee teller and platform functions; perform MSR/Teller duties as needed.
• Maintain member loyalty and resolve member concerns.
• Ensure monthly branch audits are completed satisfactorily.
