Republic Finance in Memphis, TN is offering a Branch Operations Intern role, onsite only, with a $15.00 hourly wage. You will learn branch functions, customer service, loan process, and compliance while working closely with leaders to explore career paths within the company.

The program includes hands-on exposure to loan origination, processing, closings, and funding, plus opportunities to participate in process-improvement projects and cross-department initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must be a current college Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Ideal candidates will be eager to learn, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Must have the ability to work a minimum of 18–20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background, credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Eligibility for insurance licensing based on state background check.

Responsibilities

• Become licensed and participate in an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn loan processes and regulatory training.
• Assist in daily production of loan origination, processing, closings and fundings including file allocation for doc prep; auditing closed files; prep files ready to fund.
• Spend time with Manager and Regional VP to learn responsibilities and promotional paths for career growth.
• Attend regional meetings/workshops to gain exposure to the Branch Operations division.
• Learn about one or more Branch Operations process improvement projects.
• Get an overview of corporate roles where Branch backgrounds are valuable (Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting) and company benefits.
