Job summary

Republic Finance, LLC is offering a Branch Ops Intern position that is 100% onsite in the United States. The role provides hands-on experience in loan origination, processing, closings, and fundings, with accelerated training through the Assistant Branch Manager program and exposure to regional leadership.

Interns may pursue a path to full-time employment after graduation, with opportunities to learn about compliance, training, audits, and other branch operations projects across the company.

Qualifications

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Ideal candidates will be eager to learn, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
• Must meet standards for criminal background, credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Eligibility for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products.

Responsibilities

• Become licensed and go through an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn the loan process and regulatory training.
• Assist in daily production of loan origination, processing, closings and fundings including allocating files for doc prep; auditing closed files; prep files ready to fund.
• Spend time with your Manager and Regional VP learning responsibilities to understand promotional paths.
• Attend regional meetings/workshops to gain exposure to the Branch Operations division.
• Learn about branch operations process improvement projects and corporate roles where branch experience is valuable.
