Hood Distribution in Nashville, TN seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to oversee daily branch operations, establish consistent processes, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

This role requires at least 5 years of operations or sales experience, 2 years in management, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of P&L. A competitive salary and robust benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• College degree in business or equivalent experience.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• P&L experience with sales and operations.
• Minimum 5 years of operations or sales experience.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Computer literacy in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the branch, establishing consistent processes and standards.
• Assist in monitoring the financial performance and profitability of the branch.
• Ensure inventory is received, stored, and delivered to minimize damage or loss.
• Address quality or specification issues raised by employees or customers.
• Identify opportunities to grow sales by developing new customers or expanding product lines.
• Reinforce a customer-focused mindset for internal and external customers.
• Provide ongoing training and coaching for branch personnel to maintain safety and productivity.
• Uphold high ethical standards and respect for others.
