Job summary

Woodforest National Bank is seeking a Branch Manager in Indiana (Michigan City area). The role centers on managing the branch as a business, leading a team, and driving deposits and sales while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will build relationships through partnerships, community involvement, and responsible risk and compliance practices. This leadership position emphasizes ownership, service, and integrity within a dynamic banking environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive banking, sales, or customer service experience and 1 year leadership experience required.
• OR a bachelor’s degree and 3 years of progressive banking, sales, or customer service experience.
• OR successful completion of the Branch Manager in Training (MIT) program and a minimum of 6 months of applied MIT experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the branch as a business owner – driving performance, managing resources, and making decisions that support long-term growth and profitability.
• Lead with accountability, driving and achieving sales goals and expectations for your team and consistently measuring results.
• Lead branch operations with a strategic focus on deposit growth and wealth management referrals.
• Manage all aspects of branch operations, including compliance, security, cash handling, and expense control.
• Deliver the Woodforest Experience by ensuring every customer interaction is warm, personalized, and solution oriented.
