Job summary

Woodforest National Bank is seeking a Branch Manager I for the Avon, Indiana location. You will lead the branch with an entrepreneurial mindset, acting as the business owner to drive deposits, sales, and customer relationships while delivering exceptional service in a busy retail banking setting.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in banking, sales, or customer service with 1 year of leadership.
Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years in progressive banking, sales or customer service.
Completion of Branch Manager in Training (MIT) with at least 6 months of applied MIT experience.

Responsibilities

Operate the branch as a business owner – driving performance, managing resources, and pursuing long‑term growth and profitability.
Lead with accountability, drive and achieve sales goals, and measure results for the team.
Manage branch operations including compliance, security, cash handling, and expense control.
Deliver exceptional service and build relationships through banking and wealth referrals.
Lead community outreach and partner with local organizations to drive engagement.
Uphold ethics, policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines with transparency.
