Job summary

Mariner Finance seeks a Branch Manager Non-Exempt in Lawrence, KS to oversee lending operations, approve applications, coach staff, and ensure branch performance. You will manage accounts, foster community relations, and ensure compliance with policies while delivering exceptional customer service.

The position offers a base salary of USD 65,000.00–USD 70,000.00 per year, plus eligibility for monthly incentives based on performance and company results.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of related experience in Consumer Lending/Financial Services.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience or completion of lending training program.
• Bachelor’s degree or military equivalent; additional experience may substitute for degree.

Responsibilities

• Exercise lending authority when reviewing/approving applications and offering loan solutions.
• Manage retention and maintenance of existing accounts to achieve branch targets.
• Coach branch staff with actionable feedback to meet goals and reduce turnover.
• Prepare and submit reports reflecting branch activity and growth.
• Develop business by networking with local establishments and building community relations.
• Implement internal branch auditing procedures and control negotiable items/records.
• Approve policy exceptions as authorized; resolve product/service issues.
• Monitor expenses against annual plan and company policies.
• Investigate and resolve customer and employee inquiries/complaints.
• Recruit and interview candidates; recommend hires to management.
• Participate in meetings and development activities to stay current.
