Job summary

SPEC Building Materials Corporation is seeking a Manager in Training to develop competencies across customer service, product knowledge, inventory, logistics, and leadership. The program prepares associates to run a future branch with a customer-focused mindset and solid operational skills.

The MIT training emphasizes hands-on experience in residential and commercial building materials, with a roadmap to branch management upon successful completion of all modules.

Qualifications

• Preferably a 4-year BS in Marketing/Sales, Business.
• Two years of Industry (or) Industry related experience in Building Materials.
• Two years of work experience.
• Must be able to read, speak, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Customer Service/Counter Sales Training.
• Engage in Residential and Commercial Product Training.
• Learn Inventory Management, Cost Control, Logistics and Warehouse Management.
• Develop Leadership and Outside Sales skills.
