The Restaurant Store in Maryland is seeking a Branch Manager to lead daily operations of our retail location, driving sales, marketing, staffing, inventory control, and customer relations.

You will guide a 15–25 person team, develop schedules, and ensure processes align with company values while maintaining safety and cost controls.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management overseeing site operations and sales.
Business proficiency in English is required.
This role does not require a degree; skills and experience are valued above formal education.

Manage a ~30,000 sq.ft. warehouse/retail operation in a B2B sales environment.
Achieve sales targets and hold team accountable against budgets and KPIs.
Develop and train 15–25 team members to ensure consistent processes and model company values.

Job Summary

The Branch Manager with The Restaurant Store is responsible for leading the daily operations of a retail location. The Branch Manager is responsible for accomplishing a variety of operational goals encompassing sales, marketing, staffing, inventory control, and customer relations.

Manage ~30,000sq.ft. warehouse / retail operation in business-to-business sales environment
Achieve sales targets and ensure accountability with team against established budgets and KPIs
Develop and train 15-25 team members to ensure consistent processes and procedures while role modeling our Company values
Plan, evaluate, and optimize operations to be efficient and cost-effective
Ensure that Company standards and procedures are followed, including management of escalated customer and/or employee complaints, incident reports, and legal actions
Maintain accurate inventory control and ensure that products or services comply with regulatory and quality standards
Develop a 4- to 5-week work schedule for the store that is communicated 2 weeks in advance
Understand and utilize a deep understanding of DISC profiling to build a cohesive and high-performing team
Support Membership and Gold Membership growth year over year within the local market
Support the growth and utilization of TRS.com across our customer base
Create and identify marketing leads and opportunities within the local market that support future growth
Manage the overall safety and maintenance needs of the building and equipment
Identify charitable organizations to support within the local market

Physical Requirements

Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.
Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management overseeing site operations and sales
Business Proficiency in English is required
