The Restaurant Store is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and drive daily sales in our Montgomery County branch. You will guide customers to products, provide tailored recommendations, and promote memberships, warranties, and service offerings to enhance value and satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in retail, strong MS Office and CRM usage, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

Requires proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Sales Associate with The Restaurant Store is responsible for delivering an outstanding level of customer service and support throughout a retail branch location. This role is dedicated to engaging with customers for the majority of the workday to ensure quick, accurate assistance and a positive in-store experience. The Sales Associate will drive daily sales by providing product recommendations tailored to customer needs, supporting customers in locating merchandise, and promoting store programs such as memberships, warranties, and service offerings.

Engage in direct customer service and sales interactions for the majority of the workday, focusing on understanding customer needs and delivering accurate, timely support
Serve as the first point of contact for incoming phone calls by providing prompt assistance, answering questions, and directing inquiries as needed
Assist customers in locating products on the sales floor while offering informed product recommendations that align with their specific needs
Promote and explain membership programs, warranties, and additional store services to enhance customer value and overall experience
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe equipment display section through routine upkeep
Communicate effectively with Sales Manager and Sales Team members to report stock needs, customer concerns, and operational issues that impact service
Perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goal

Physical Requirements

Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.
Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Education
