Job summary

Altura Credit Union in Corona, CA is seeking a Branch Manager II to lead the Corona Plaza branch’s daily operations and drive member service excellence. You will supervise staff, coach and mentor a leadership team, and ensure safety, compliance, and audit readiness while meeting sales and production goals.

Strong people leadership, coaching, and financial services knowledge are required to build a high-performing team and deliver outstanding member experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ supervisory experience in a financial institution, with the demonstrated ability to motivate, coach, counsel, and train subordinates.
• Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in a financial institution, with a proficient level of knowledge regarding regulations, policies, and procedures governing financial services

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily operational functions of the branch, ensuring the safety, security, and soundness of the branch. This includes internal control coordination, HR management at the staffing level, compliance, security, and loss prevention.
• Responsible for achieving annual sales and production goals for the branch, promoting teamwork, and emphasizing quality Member interactions.
• Ensures branch is consistently delivering excellence in Member service with on-the-spot coaching and responding to detractor comments within two business days.
• Maintains knowledge of state and federal regulations and Altura Credit Union procedures; ensures ongoing staff training and compliance.
• Resolves escalated member service issues and ensures service recovery.
• Hires, schedules, trains, and monitors workflow; conducts performance reviews and issues corrective notices.
• Preserves the retail and merchandising image by coordinating with marketing for branch consistency and professional appearance.
