Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; Four years’ relevant experience; Minimum three years sales experience; Minimum two years managerial experience; Licensing within 18 months of entry; M&T Way Certified; Precision Leadership Certified; Bi-lingual/Spanish preferred; Knowledge of business banking products and client relationship management; Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs sales and business development to drive branch profitability and annual goals.
• Coaches and develops branch staff; manages performance and priority setting.
• Identifies customer needs using M&T sales processes and bundled solutions.
• Proactively grows Business Banking relationships and community presence.
• Manages staffing, interviews, and risk/compliance policies.
• Owning complex account servicing and escalations; coaching for improvement.
• Partners with bank areas to resolve customer and employee issues.
