Job summary

UVA Community Credit Union is seeking a Branch Manager to lead daily branch activities, coach staff, and drive sales and service excellence while upholding the credit union mission and governance. The role involves risk management, policy adherence, and staff development.

The Branch Manager tier is based on experience, with compensation commensurate to the level. This full-time, on-site position is based in Charlottesville, VA, reporting to the Branch Leadership team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor1s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years branch management or equivalent experience.
• Approachable and friendly.

• Sales oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales and service meetings for both consumer and business product lines; create a cross-selling environment within the branch.
• Ensure branch compliance with policies and regulations and internal controls.
• Oversee branch operations, audits, and staffing; evaluate performance and provide coaching.
• Schedule and cross-train staff to ensure effective branch succession and operations.
• Conduct loan interviews, originate, process, disburse and close consumer loans; originate home equity loans.
• Monitor branch activity, transactions, loan volume, and product sales; maintain relationships with members.
• Represent the Credit Union at community events and drive outside relationships.
• Oversee security and safety policies and training; manage staff in emergencies.
