Job summary

The Hope Group, a SunSource Company, is seeking a Store/Branch Manager to lead daily operations across our New England facilities. You will supervise store personnel, manage inventory, coordinate purchasing, pricing, and order fulfillment to optimize profitability and service levels.

Responsibilities include staff development, enforcing safety policies, handling customer inquiries, and coordinating with outside sales where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the activities of the Store/Branch including supervision of personnel and implementation of company policies.
• Coordinate purchasing, receiving materials, pricing, and maintaining inventories with accountability for results.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of store personnel; conduct performance reviews and manage hiring, transfers and wage adjustments.
• Ensure safety rules and regulations are followed; monitor and take corrective action as necessary.
• Review inquiries and orders, verify part identification, and price items using established pricing practices.
• Purchase non-stock items, obtain quotes, and place purchase orders; manage receipt and BIN locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform periodic counts; resolve cycle-count questions with purchasing/warehouse.
• Reconcile cash sale accounts weekly and deposit cash/checks; resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Fill customer orders, pick, pack, and arrange for shipping; operate handling equipment for heavy items.
• Provide leads to outside sales for new customers; support quotations and travel with outside sales as needed.
• Distribute price lists, catalogs, and product information; travel to other locations as required and reimbursed.
