Job summary

People First in Allentown seeks a Branch Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of a retail branch, leading sales, service, and operations to deliver exceptional member experiences. You will coach staff, ensure compliance, manage cash controls, and maintain branch facilities.

The role requires 5+ years in financial services with supervisory experience, Monday–Friday hours and occasional Saturdays, plus a dedication to member service and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Five years of related experience in a financial institution.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of financial services and products.
• Understanding of related legal and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with branch functions, policies, and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch sales and service outcomes effectively and efficiently.
• coach and develop staff to improve performance and customer experience.
• Maintain operations efficiency and proper cash controls.
• Perform security routines including opening/closing and vault procedures.
• Supervise staff and ensure staff are trained on products and referrals.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with members.
• Seek ways to improve branch operations and productivity to meet goals.
• Fill in for branch roles as needed.
• Engage with the local community.
