Peoples State Bank in Wausau, WI, is seeking a Branch Manager to lead the retail team, grow relationships, and keep daily operations running smoothly.

You will oversee branch management, select and coach staff, open new accounts, and originate, underwrite, and close secured and unsecured loans.

This role requires 3+ years of banking experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and local market familiarity; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive banking experience.
• Experience leading a retail team.
• Strong written and verbal communication; solid math skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic computer skills.
• Ability to identify market opportunities and growth programs.
• Familiarity with the local financial marketplace.

The Branch Manager, Recharged

As Branch Manager in Wausau, you'll guide branch performance while keeping customer service front and center. This role exists to lead the retail team, grow relationships, and keep daily operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities Include

Between greeting familiar faces and meeting new ones, you'll keep an eye on service quality and step in when a situation needs a calm, friendly leader. You'll also carve out time to connect with the local market-watching trends, brainstorming outreach ideas, and keeping the branch visible in the community.

By day's end, you'll feel good knowing the branch ran smoothly, customers were taken care of, and the team had your support.
