Peoples State Bank’s Wausau branch is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to support customers with everyday banking needs at the front line. You’ll help make visits easy, accurate, and welcoming.

This full-time role emphasizes friendly service, cash handling, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on connecting customers to the right products and services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Solid computer skills and clear, friendly communication.

LOCATION: 1905 Stewart Avenue, Wausau, WI 54401

HOURS: Monday through Friday between 7:45 AM - 5:15 PM and rotating Saturdays 8:45 AM - 12:15 PM

• Greeting customers and assisting with routine teller transactions and account requests
• Handling cash with strong attention to detail and balancing work accurately
• Spotting opportunities to connect customers with the right products/services
• Using bank systems to complete work efficiently while juggling multiple requests

Required qualifications/skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service, cash handling and/or sales experience (a plus)
• Solid computer skills and clear, friendly communication
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced setting

Your Typical Shift

You’ll arrive, get set up, and check what the day has in store-then it's on to a steady rhythm of customer conversations, quick questions, and "thanks for your help!" moments. Between lobby traffic and phone calls, you'll stay focused, keep your work tidy, and lean on teammates when things pick up. Most weekdays fall between 7:45 AM–5:15 PM, with rotating Saturdays from 8:45 AM–12:15 PM-just enough weekend time to keep life balanced. You'll wrap up by ensuring everything is in order so the next day starts on a strong note.
