The role

This is a highly visible, people‑first leadership role. The branch manager oversees all day‑to‑day operations — hiring, training, and supervising counter sales, warehouse, and delivery staff — while modeling the kind of prompt, professional service that keeps customers coming back. They set the tone for a culture of teamwork, accountability, and mutual respect.

Strategically, the right candidate will develop plans to drive productivity and performance, consistently meet financial targets, resolve customer disputes efficiently, and partner with outside sales staff to build effective branch promotions. Accurate transaction and paperwork management comes with the territory.

Candidate profile

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven operations management experience
• Consistent customer service skills and business acumen
• Comfort learning and using point‑of‑sale software
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen

Preferred

• HVAC/R industry experience or formal training
• Background in wholesale distribution — order fulfillment, inventory control, showroom merchandising, shipping/receiving, or branch sales
