Job description

Cardinal Staffing is searching for a Branch Manager in Perrysburg, OH to join our team!

The Branch Manager is responsible for leading a team of recruiters and for all facets of branch operation and success. The Branch Manager is also a key part of the recruitment and sales processes, being responsible for active recruitment of temporary workforces, delegation of recruitment duties to team, and coordination with sales operational teams.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for helping others and enjoy working in a team environment. Excellent communication skills are a must as this position will be working with clients, customers, and applicants daily. Multi-tasking and intermediate computer skills are also a necessity.

Pay: 60k - 65k, 8:00 – 5:00 PM M-F

Leadership Responsibilities:

• Administer standard employment processes for recruiting personnel, including but not limited to hiring, onboarding, training, reviews, issue resolution, and coverage scheduling in accordance with client expectations – including navigation of paid time off.
• Set performance goals and provide regular feedback and coaching.
• Coordinate the daily activities of branch staff.
• Handle discipline and termination actions, when necessary, in accordance with company policy.
• Create a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations and company policies.
• Tour client facilities as necessary to properly ensure client needs are fulfilled.
• Keep current with sourcing strategies, staffing and industry trends.
• Provide KPM’s and status reports to client contact and management as requested.
• Represent the Surestaff/Cardinal Staffing brand with integrity and professionalism.
• Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and loyalty.

Recruiting Responsibilities:

• Mange the full life cycle of the talent search and placement process.
• Continuously recruit and hire new candidates for light industrial and clerical positions using all resources including but not limited to daily work within applicant tracking systems, online job sites, social media platforms, community outreach (job fairs, local civic partnerships).
• Schedule and coordinate interviews, hiring discussions, orientations, and follow up with candidates as needed.
• Maintain consistent attention to detail driving administrative tasks to completion with both speed and accuracy - update Applicant Tracking System, spreadsheets, and ensure process-driven workflow.
• Review applications and resumes for appropriate credentials, skills, and experience in relation to position requirements.
• Welcome onsite candidates, providing excellent customer service and a great first impression of Surestaff/Cardinal Staffing.
• Assist candidates with new hire onboarding, working closely with the payroll, HR, and compliance departments to ensure all documents are correctly completed and processed.
• Support recruiting initiatives and identify recommendations to continuously improve the recruitment processes and the tools used to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain consistent communication and relationships with existing associates during their tenure with Surestaff/Cardinal Staffing.
• Review safety issues and addresses employee relations issues.
• Work to meet specific company quotas as defined.
• Uphold recruiting best practices by maintaining and protecting highly sensitive and confidential information.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities to help in any other areas as needed.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of relevant experience working in recruiting or other high touch service or similar position.
• 2+ years of supervisor or human resource experience.
• Proven customer service skills including the ability to connect with customers internally and externally.
• Ability to interact effectively with clients of all levels.
• Flexibility to support client requirements outside of recruitment activities if needed.
• Ability to handle issues that are deemed sensitive and confidential.
• Extremely flexible, highly organized, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as have a solid foundation with the Internet.
• Experience in applicant tracking systems.

Preferences:

• Staffing industry experience.
