Job summary

Qualifications

  • Willingness to travel regionally and work extended hours.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate regional operational, sales, and administrative activities to meet growth, profitability, and safety goals.
  • Serve as on-site leader with visibility to crews, supervision, and customers.
  • Implement company strategy locally and provide input on tactical adjustments.
  • Drive safety, ensure compliance with regulations, and lead incident investigations.
  • Oversee pricing, estimating support, and proposal execution with the sales team.
  • Manage branch P&L, cost control, and resource allocation.
  • Build and maintain strategic client relationships in Idaho.

SUMMARY

This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, sales, safety, personnel, and client relations in a market experiencing elevated incident frequency and a need for stable local leadership. The BM reports directly to the Regional General Manager and will serve as the central figure in driving performance, strengthening safety culture, and positioning the branch for profitable growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate all regional operational, sales, and administrative activities to meet growth, profitability, and safety goals.
  • Serve as the on-site leader ensuring daily visibility with crews, supervision, and customers.
  • Execute company strategy at the local level and provide input on tactical adjustments to meet market demands.
  • Drive safe execution of projects, ensuring compliance with company safety policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Oversee pricing, estimating support, and proposal execution in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Manage all aspects of branch P&L, including cost control, resource allocation, and margin protection.
  • Build and maintain strategic client relationships in the Idaho market.
Safety Leadership
  • Serve as the highest-ranking safety advocate on-site, leading by example in personal conduct and jobsite safety enforcement.
  • Ensure all incidents are investigated promptly and thoroughly, and corrective actions are implemented and tracked.
  • Partner with the corporate safety team to develop location-specific programs and ensure all personnel meet training and compliance requirements.
  • Prioritize proactive risk identification and pre-task planning across all operations.
  • Develop and manage regional operating and capital budgets, maintaining rigorous cost control and revenue tracking.
  • Work with the operations team to ensure smooth project planning, start-up, and closeout, focusing on efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with Fleet Management to ensure equipment tracking, usage optimization, and preventative maintenance compliance.
  • Drive forecasting, backlog reviews, and manpower planning to ensure project readiness.
Team Development & Accountability
  • Hire, develop, and retain high-performing operations, sales, and administrative personnel.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, field audits, and one-on-one coaching with direct reports.
  • Champion clear communication, priority alignment, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Proven track record in safety leadership and incident reduction.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
  • Ability to work extended hours, visit project sites, and travel regionally as needed.
