Morrison Express is hiring a senior leader to manage and optimize station operations across international freight forwarding. You will lead a team, drive sales growth, and ensure profitability while adhering to all compliance requirements.

A strong track record in multi-modal transport and strategic initiative is essential. The role requires at least 5 years in international freight forwarding and contract logistics, with proven sales closing experience and leadership capabilities to guide

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in international freight forwarding and contract logistics.
• Proven experience closing international freight forwarding sales.
• Knowledge of Trans-Pacific trade lanes.
• Experience with multi-modal transportation (Ocean, Air, Import, Export, TL, LTL).
• Strong business acumen with leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee station operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Supervise and provide leadership to a team, including guidance to achieve sales targets and operational goals.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability.
• Monitor and analyze station performance; identify improvements and implement process changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sales strategies, campaigns, and marketing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Set stretch goals to continuously improve performance.
• Identify and solve problems with sustainable solutions aligned with plans and procedures.
• Oversee P&L for the district, manage expenses, maximize profits, and minimize losses.
• Other duties assigned by management.

• Identify and solve problems with sustainable solutions that align with the company strategic and tactical plans, policy, and procedures.
• Oversee P&L for the district, ensuring that revenue goals are met by managing expenses, maximizing profits and minimizing losses.
• Other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in international freight forwarding and contract logistics.
• Proven experience with closing international freight forwarding sales.
• Knowledge of Trans-Pacific trade lanes.
• Experience working with multi-modal transportation, (i.e. Ocean, Air, Import, Export, TL, LTL).
• Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Strong business acumen with a keen aptitude to quickly assimilate new information.
• Excellent organization, analytical, written, and oral communications skills.
• Proven management skills to drive the operational growth and ensure profitability.
• Proven track record in business development and demonstrated leadership skills.
• Strategic thinker with very strong commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial flair.
• Experienced working with semiconductor industry a plus.
• Ability to motivate people through collaborative skills.
