As a Branch Manager, your primary role will be to oversee the daily operations of our Columbus branch servicing builders and contractors as well as providing hands-on customer service and sales direction by implementing corporate initiatives to achieve both personal and corporate goals.

Essential Functions Of Position

• Develop and lead the overall sales strategy for the branch team
• Coach and mentor the branch Assistant Manager to develop skillset for potential future Branch Manager role
• Direct customer service specialists to provide a high level of customer service
• Direct warehouse/driver staff to provide speedy, efficient, and accurate service to customer base
• Insure outside sales representatives are implementing company directives
• Assist with dispatch responsibilities
• Assist with inventory control responsibilities
• Implement company operational directives, company policies and procedures, holding team accountable for compliance
• Enforce employee compliance with corporate HR policies, procedures and guidelines
• Hire, train, manage and develop branch team
• Communicate accountability and performance expectations of branch team
• Process payroll to corporate office
• Process and approve invoices for payment to A/P
• Generate weekly reports for Executive review
• Perform other duties as assigned

A successful Branch Manager candidate must be career-oriented, highly motivated, possess strong sales and leadership skills, and have the ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.

• Products and a basic knowledge of sales and customer service principles as well as overall industry trends/market conditions

Other Characteristics

• High school diploma or equivalency, a four year college business degree preferred
• Minimum of three years management experience
• Minimum of three years of progressive work experience in a customer service environment
