Qualifications

• 5+ years of bank branch management experience.
• Proven ability to generate new business and grow deposits and loans.
• Hands-on loan-processing experience beyond administrative support.
• Experience leading branch operations and developing retail staff.
• Strong knowledge of the Baton Rouge market and local relationships.
• Retail/relationship banking experience preferred.
• Horizon core system experience preferred.

A community bank is seeking an experienced, producing Branch Manager to lead a new Baton Rouge branch. This is an opportunity for a relationship-driven banker who enjoys developing new business, building community connections, and growing a branch from the ground up.

The Branch Manager will oversee daily operations, support and develop retail staff, and take an active role in growing deposits and loans. The ideal candidate combines strong business development skills with substantial hands-on lending and loan-processing experience.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with local businesses, customers, referral partners, and community organizations.
• Prospect for new business and drive measurable deposit and loan growth.
• Lead daily branch operations, including staffing, service, procedures, and internal controls.
• Coach and support retail staff in relationship development, customer service, and branch performance.
• Work directly with customers on loan applications and help move loans through documentation, underwriting, outstanding conditions, and closing.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking and lending solutions.
• Represent the bank at community and business events.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of bank branch management experience.
• Proven success personally generating new business and growing deposits and loans.
• Strong hands-on loan-processing experience beyond administrative loan support.
• Experience leading branch operations and developing retail banking staff.
• Strong knowledge of the Baton Rouge market and a commitment to building local relationships.
• Relationship Banking or Retail Banking experience preferred.
• Experience with the Horizon core system preferred.
