Job summary

Mariner Finance is seeking a customer-focused professional to join our branch team. The role handles loan applications, customer outreach on past due balances, cash handling, and reporting to support branch sales and service goals.

Qualified candidates have at least 3 years in customer service or sales, with 2 years in consumer lending or financial services, a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and the ability to obtain required licenses to sell insurance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in customer service or sales with 2+ years in consumer lending/financial services
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to learn financial services programs
• Must obtain applicable licenses to sell insurance products
• Must work at the assigned branch location

Responsibilities

• Process credit loan applications, presents loan solutions based on customer needs
• Proactively contact customers with past due balances to offer solutions
• Maintain a cash drawer, process payments and deposits
• Meet or exceed sales/branch goals related to product sales
• Assist the Branch Manager with reports as needed
• Maintain branch compliance
• Coordinate functions in manager’s absence
• Learn applicable federal, state, and local consumer laws
• May perform additional functions as needed
