Job summary

Mariner Finance in Decatur, AL is seeking a branch leadership role with lending oversight and staff coaching. Base pay ranges from $23.19 to $30.15 per hour, plus a monthly incentive based on performance, and a full benefits package for full-time employees.

Responsibilities include reviewing loan applications, maintaining accounts, coaching staff, reporting on activity, and building business with local establishments. Requires 3+ years in consumer lending and 2+ years supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of related experience in Consumer Lending/Financial Services.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience or completion of a lending training program.
• Bachelor’s degree as listed or military equivalent; substitutions may apply.
• Reliable transportation required for branch duties.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Exercise lending authority when reviewing applications and offering loan solutions.
• Retain and maintain existing accounts; meet branch sales and delinquency targets.
• Coach branch staff with actionable feedback to achieve goals and reduce turnover.
• Prepare and submit reports reflecting branch activity and growth.
• Develop business by networking with local retailers and automotive businesses.
• Manage policy exceptions and resolve product, service, and policy obstacles for customers.
• Monitor expenses and align with annual business plan; resolve inquiries and complaints.
• Participate in meetings and professional development; cover additional duties as needed.
