Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of related experience in the Consumer Lending and/or Financial Services industry.
• Two (2) years of successful supervisory experience, or recent successful (within past three (3) years) completion of a lending training program or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Administration, Economics; or military rank or equivalently substituted experience.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with customers and staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar programs and able to learn financial services software.
• Ability to complete duties timely and accurately.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, leadership, and interpersonal skills in demanding situations.
• Must obtain licenses to sell insurance products offered by the branch.
• Work at the assigned branch location as required.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve loan applications using product knowledge to meet customer needs.
• Maintain and grow existing accounts, including lending and collections.
• Coach branch staff with actionable feedback to reach goals and reduce turnover.
• Prepare and submit reports reflecting branch activity and growth.
• Develop business by networking with local establishments and building community relations.
• Implement internal branch auditing procedures to control negotiable items and records.
• Approve exceptions to policy as authorized by management.
• Monitor monthly expenses against the annual plan.
• Investigate and resolve customer and employee inquiries and complaints.
• Recruit and interview prospective candidates; make recommendations to management.
• Participate in meetings and professional development activities.
• Perform additional functions as needed (payments, applications, calls, etc.).
