Job summary

Mariner Finance is seeking a Branch Manager in Summit Township, PA to lead daily operations and drive branch performance. You will review loan applications and approve solutions, while coaching staff to meet targets and ensure policy compliance.

Beyond lending, you’ll network with local businesses, build customer relations, and strengthen the branch’s community presence. A bachelor’s degree and supervisory experience are preferred for guiding a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in Consumer Lending or Financial Services.
• 2+ years supervisory experience or completion of lending training program.
• Bachelor's degree in Business/Accounting/Finance/Administration/Economics or military rank.
• Reliable transportation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage branch activities and sales targets.
• Must obtain licenses to sell insurance.

Responsibilities

• Exercise lending authority when reviewing and approving applications and offer loan solutions meeting customer needs.
• Manage retention and maintenance of existing accounts, including lending and collecting, to meet branch targets.
• Coach branch staff with actionable feedback to achieve goals and reduce turnover.
• Prepare and submit reports reflecting branch activity and growth.
• Develop additional business by networking with local establishments and building community relations.
• Implement internal branch auditing procedures and control negotiable items and records.
• Manage approval of exceptions to policy as authorized by management.
• Monitor monthly expenses and ensure policies are followed.
• Investigate and resolve customer and employee inquiries and complaints.
• Attract high-quality and diverse talent, interview candidates, and recommend hires.
• Participate in meetings and professional development to stay updated.
• May perform additional functions as needed (payments, loan processing, etc.)
