Job summary

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in consumer lending or financial services, 2+ years of supervisory experience, and a BS degree in Business, Economics, or related field; excellent communication and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of related experience in consumer lending/financial services.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience, or completion of a lending training program.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field; or military equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve loan applications using product knowledge to meet customer needs.
• Manage retention and maintenance of existing accounts to hit branch targets.
• Coach branch staff with actionable feedback to reduce turnover and improve service quality.
• Prepare and submit reports on branch activity and growth.
• Develop business by networking with local establishments and building community relations.
• Audit branch processes to control negotiable items and records.
• Approve policy exceptions as authorized by management and resolve related issues.
• Investigate and resolve customer and employee inquiries and complaints.
• Assist in interviewing and selecting candidates to fill vacancies.
• Participate in meetings and development activities to stay current with trends.
