Mariner Finance is seeking a branch leader with a strong background in consumer lending and supervisory experience. The role emphasizes ensuring strong customer service, managing loan approvals, and developing local business relationships.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent military rank) and at least three years in the industry. A comprehensive benefits package and a competitive base salary with incentive eligibility are provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Consumer Lending/Financial Services.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience or completion of lending training program.
• Bachelor’s degree or military rank as described.
• Reliable transportation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve loan applications using product knowledge.
• Maintain and grow existing accounts; lending and collections to meet targets.
• Coach branch staff with actionable feedback to reduce turnover.
• Prepare and submit branch activity/growth reports as needed.
• Develop business by networking with local establishments and building community relations.
• Audit branch procedures to control negotiable items and records.
• Approve exceptions to policy as directed by management.
• Monitor monthly expenses per the annual plan.
• Investigate customer and employee inquiries and resolve issues.
• Recruit and interview candidates and recommend vacancies.
