Job summary

Mariner Finance is seeking a Branch Manager Non-Exempt to lead daily branch operations and drive lending activity in a customer‑focused environment. This role oversees staff, audits processes, and builds community relations to grow the business.

You will review loan applications, supervise tellers and support staff, and ensure compliance with internal controls while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of related experience in the Consumer Lending and/or Financial Services industry.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience, or completion of a lending training program within past 3 years.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Administration, Economics; or military rank.
• Reliable transportation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office or similar programs.
• Ability to complete essential duties in a timely, accurate manner.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, project leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Must obtain licenses to sell insurance products offered to customers by the branch.
• Must perform work at the assigned branch location.

Responsibilities

• Exercise lending authority when reviewing and approving applications and offer loan solutions meeting customer needs.
• Manage retention and maintenance of existing accounts to hit branch sales and delinquency targets.
• Coach branch staff with actionable feedback to achieve goals and reduce turnover.
• Prepare and submit reports reflecting branch activity and growth.
• Develop additional business by networking with local establishments and building community relations.
• Coordinate and interview prospective candidates for vacancies.
