Job summary

City National Bank and Trust in Oklahoma City area is seeking a Manager in Training to develop into a Branch Manager. The MIT role runs 30–60 days of in-house training and 60–90 days of promotion-focused training, followed by an expectations period.

The role emphasizes sales management, coaching, and leadership across retail staff, with responsibilities for customer experience and branch operations. 4 years of management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years goal-oriented sales experience, military and/or a college degree.
• 4 years management experience; banking or sales management experience a plus.
• Previous cash handling, banking experience, or bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate performance of a sales and service leader using expanded and in-depth knowledge of retail services, products, and selling techniques.
• Establish rapport with employees, customer base, and prospects.
• Initiate and demonstrate sales conversations with prospects within the store and in the market area.
• Manage staff and build camaraderie to achieve branch and individual goals.
• Coach, lead and encourage employees in development of branch goals.
• Supervise the 2-2-2 call initiative and oversee marketing promotions.
• Provide training on staff for problem resolution and customer experience.
