Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in New York is seeking a Head Universal Banker to lead the branch team, deliver exceptional service, and drive sales through coaching and mentorship.

You will guide clients through complex transactions, champion risk controls, and promote digital channels to deepen client relationships. This hands-on leadership role requires engaging with customers in the lobby and mentoring tellers to maintain Citi standards.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years relevant experience.
• Face-to-face customer service and digital engagement.
• Open, client-service oriented and helpful.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer and digital tools skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support Universal Bankers and Tellers in service, sales, and compliance routines.
• Guide clients and team in complex transactions for an exceptional client experience.
• Champion risk and control by monitoring day-to-day operations and ensuring policy compliance.
• Promote products and educate clients on using digital channels (ATM, Online, Mobile).
• Act as subject matter expert for the branch and provide coverage for leadership needs.
• Provide coaching and education to Universal Bankers and Tellers on digital capabilities and processes.
