Job summary

QNB Bank seeks a Head Teller to lead the teller staff and ensure outstanding customer service across daily operations. You will train staff, oversee cash handling, and support branch goals with a focus on product knowledge and cross-selling.

You will supervise, coach, and develop tellers, ensuring compliance with policies and security procedures while maintaining high service standards for customers and community expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
• 5 years progressive experience in a financial organization.
• Familiarity with bank products, services and lending policies.
• In-depth knowledge of branch transactions and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Implements and models Q2 Service and Sales programs with creativity and energy.
• Builds customer relationships with courteous, confidential, and professional service.
• Open, close, and service all deposit products; take and disburse loans.
• Provide exceptional customer service, leadership, conflict resolution, and clear communication.
• Supervise teller area: assign work, coach staff, ensure productivity and service quality.
• Manage branch daily cash needs and cash limits; balance drawers and vaults.
• Audit cash drawers, vaults, ATM, and branch logs; ensure policy compliance.
• Train and develop tellers to be knowledgeable about bank products and procedures.
• Represent QNB at workshops and Head Teller meetings.
• Open/close branch in the absence of the Branch Manager; cover extended hours.
