Job summary

Columbia Bank's Colusa branch is seeking a Branch Manager/Operations Supervisor to ensure daily operations, drive customer relationships, and coach staff. You’ll also back up personal banking functions, open accounts, and process loan requests while guiding tellers and personal bankers under the Branch Manager.

The role includes mortgage loan origination responsibilities as an MLO, with SAFE Act registration expectations and a competitive incentive plan. Onsite in Colusa, CA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in banking, business, or related field preferred.
• 2 years of retail banking experience required.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• 1 year of consumer and small business lending origination experience preferred.
• Customer service background in retail or banking.
• Demonstrated ability to grow sales through long-term relationships.
• Strong leadership, communication, and multi-tasking skills.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and banking software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure branch meets operations standards and satisfactory audits.
• Coach team to deepen customer relationships and meet sales goals.
• Open new accounts, take loan requests, and gather credit information.
• Manage, train, and coach tellers; oversee personal bankers with Branch Manager.
• Handle branch tasks: opening/closing, overdraft monitoring, wire transfers, collections, and stop payments.
