Job summary

NorthEast Electrical, part of the Sonepar group, seeks a Branch Manager in Claremont, NH to lead counter and inside sales, oversee warehouse operations, and drive branch performance. You will manage budgets, customer accounts, and safety compliance while promoting digital tools and a customer-centric sales culture.

The role requires 3–5 years of industry knowledge, a bachelor's degree preferred, and strong leadership and communication skills to grow the branch and support company-wide digital

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with emphasis on business or equivalent knowledge.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years industry and product knowledge preferred.
• Strong computer skills with emphasis on Website Navigation.
• Ability to manage the work of others and drive sales growth.

Responsibilities

• Direct the sales activities of inside and counter sales personnel.
• Supervise and manage all activities of the branch personnel.
• Interface with manager to coordinate outside sales with Branch operations.
• Analyze customer needs and ensure products meet those needs; emphasize Digital Tools.
• Participate in ongoing training for Digital Tools.
• Develop and maintain account base; make calls on potential and underperforming accounts.
• Develop an annual plan and budget for the branch.
• Participate in inter-branch discussions and planning.
• Review monthly reports to ensure budgets are adhered to.
• Hire, develop and train new employees; review performance of branch staff.
• Ensure accounts receivable and inventory assets are managed with equitable returns.
• Support marketing efforts and provide information on planning, pricing, people and product.
• Work with accounts payable to ensure timely payments.
• Oversee branch paperwork; ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain overall branch safety and security.
