Job summary

Municipal Credit Union (MCU) seeks a Branch Manager for our New York area to drive performance, staffing, and community engagement. You’ll coach a high-performing team, build tailored member solutions, and lead risk management with a focus on operational excellence.

You will oversee branch operations, deliver world-class service, and align activities with MCU’s strategy, ensuring growth in deposits, loans, and member satisfaction while upholding compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of branch or managerial experience required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch performance, growth, and staff development while ensuring superb member experience.
• Coach and mentor team, drive sales and service excellence, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and HR processes, including performance evaluations and training.
• Manage branch P&L and collaborate with Retail and other departments to meet goals.
• Resolve member escalations with empathy and professionalism.
