Job summary

National Tank & Equipment is seeking a Branch Manager for our El Reno, OK location. You will lead branch performance, align priorities across sales, service, operations, and safety, and drive profitability while maintaining strong customer relationships.

You will manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls, coach a diverse team, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Regular hours, with flexibility for urgent matters, are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years operational leadership with P&L responsibility in equipment rental or related environment.
• Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a valid TWIC card.
• Moderately clean driving record and safety-conscious.
• Strong business and financial acumen with planning and decision-making.
• Ability to lead through changing priorities and balance customer, employee, and operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch performance and align priorities with sales, service, operations, safety, people, and financial goals.
• Collaborate across sales, service, operations, transportation, and administration.
• Monitor branch performance, identify risks, and take timely corrective actions.
• Maintain visible leadership and consistent communication across the branch.
• Support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and responsible cost management.
• Review operating results and improve productivity, utilization, and profitability.
• Partner with sales teams to strengthen customer relationships and support growth.
• Oversee purchasing, vendor, receivable, and payable activities.
• Select, coach, develop, and retain a capable branch team.
• Set expectations, provide feedback, and support succession and career development.
• Foster an inclusive culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Lead compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and operating requirements.
• Promote hazard identification, incident prevention, and corrective action.
• Ensure branch records, assets, and practices meet requirements.
